Freight Line Europe B.V. and Transport Company Joh. van der Haas B.V. join forces

Freight Line Europe B.V., “Your partner in refrigerated transport,” and Transport Company Joh. van der Haas B.V., “More than just transport,” will join forces as of January 2025. This strategic partnership offers more than just scaling and continuity. The combination of specializations and servicing of different markets creates a total solution for our customers.
Transport Company Joh. van der Haas B.V. is a specialized player in conditioned transportation of young plants, nursery, and floriculture products. They operate from locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, providing transportation to countries within the Benelux, Germany, England, France, Austria, and Switzerland.
After operating as a thriving family business for 70 years, Transport Company Joh. van der Haas B.V. lacks succession. “The lack of succession forced us to think about the continuation of the business. The partnership with Freight Line Europe B.V. offers the continuity we desire for our company, our people, and our customers,” says Aad Spruit, director at Transport Company Joh. van der Haas B.V.
Freight Line Europe B.V., founded in 2007, is an established name in conditioned transport, primarily serving the fruit and vegetables sector. The team of Freight Line Europe operates from locations in the Netherlands and England. From there, they provide transportation to countries within the Benelux, England, and France.
The continuation and future continuity of Freight Line Europe’s activities are assured. Demi van der Hout, daughter of director Chris Hans van der Hout, has been working within the company since 2021 and is being prepared to take over from her father in due time. “I am proud of the achieved collaboration, how wonderful it is that you support each other in achieving growth and continuity!” says Freight Line Europe director Chris Hans van der Hout.
Transport Company Joh. van der Haas B.V. will continue its activities from January 2025 as an independent company under the existing management from the joint location at Honderdland 791, 2676LV, Maasdijk.
